Maple, Class of 1999. Mike attended Thiel College, graduating in 2003 with a BA in History and Secondary Education, then receiving a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Cleveland State in 2008. He began teaching at Maple in 2003 in Social Studies and was Faculty Manager, Baseball and Football Coach, including the State Championship Team in 2010. He and his wife Liz have three children: Cole, and twins Elliot and Emory. He is currently the Executive Director of the Maple Education Foundation.
